Along the Nile

For this show, I worked as a scenic carpenter and scenic props builder. This was quite an interesting show for the ULPFAR department for several reasons. It was a world premiere and we got to work with the writer of the show as our director. Unfortunately, we did not have a technical director at this time, so the set was a bit experimental. We played around with a minimalistic set, including just a few muslin curtains, and used lighting to create different environments.
I was also asked, along with my friend and fellow design/tech student, Finley Folse, to create a desert rock out of a wooden box for the actors to sit on. This was my first time sculpting with foam and I really enjoyed it.
